About Us

The Beta Beta chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha was established in 1914 and for the past 112 years has shaped its members into Scholars, Leaders, Athletes, and Gentlemen. In 2026, we are getting ready to enter a new era of PIKE at UW. 

We believe PIKE is the best fraternity at UW and is only getting better. While it starts with the Brothers and the lifelong friendships we build here, it’s also for more tangible reasons, including:

Our new house - Currently undergoing a $2.5 million renovation, we will soon move from our current 8,500 square foot house to a 20,629 square foot chapter house - one of the largest on campus - completely renovated from top to bottom.

Member scholarships - We provide nearly $50,000 per year in scholarships to our members to help offset the cost of living in the fraternity.

Alumni support - Beta Beta alumni support the fraternity like none other. In 2024, Oscar Sandberg (1949 initiate) and his wife Lois (Kappa Delta, WSU) gave a $9.04 million donation to the PIKE Foundation, the largest gift in PIKE history and one of the largest gifts ever to any Greek organization.
