About Alpha Delta Phi

DSC03817.jpg

The Washington Chapter of Alpha Delta Phi was founded on October 29th, 1921, making it one of the oldest fraternities at the UW Campus. Since its humble beginnings, Alpha Delta Phi has grown to become one of the largest fraternities here at UW. With over one hundred current brothers and thousands of local alumni, the Washington Chapter proudly boasts a wide array of professional connections alongside friendships our brothers will preserve for a lifetime. Of all 33 Alpha Delt chapters across the continent, the Washington Chapter is honored to be the most decorated by the international council. We have consistently brought home awards for chapter excellence since our founding due to the strength of our members and alumni.

The men of Alpha Delta Phi are a well-rounded group, with members involved in a variety of majors, the Interfraternity Council, club sports, intramurals, community service, and various outdoor activities. On any given weekend one could possibly find members surfing on the frigid shores of Port Angeles, hitting the books in our chapter library, volunteering at Seattle Children’s Hospital, taming the backcountry wilderness of Mt. Rainier, or playing a tune on the piano in our formal.

Bubble Bash is our chapter’s philanthropy; it benefits the Seattle Children’s Hospital’s Stanley Stamm Summer Camp, which gives children facing life-threatening medical conditions the ability to have a summer camp experience. Bubble Bash was founded by our members in 2013 and raised over $65,000 this past year, making it one of the largest philanthropies on campus and the largest out of all Alpha Delta Phi Chapters.

We look forward to hearing from you and showing you what makes our chapter great in person!
